June 2026 - Why Superniños Exists

Superniños began in 2016 with a simple question: What if we could help children build the skills and support they need before violence, hopelessness, and exclusion take root?

At the time, teachers and families in Paraguay were confronting challenges that went far beyond academics. Many children lacked safe spaces, positive role models, and opportunities to develop confidence and leadership. We believed that addressing those needs early could change the course of a child's life.

From the beginning, our focus has been about more than reading and math. We help children develop communication, empathy, responsibility, problem-solving skills, and a sense of belonging—qualities that strengthen relationships, build resilience, and create healthier communities.

One belief has guided our work from the start: children are not simply recipients of help. They are part of the solution.

Through Superniños, students become tutors, mentors, volunteers, and leaders. They learn new skills, then use those skills to help others. Again and again, we have seen children grow in confidence when they are trusted with responsibility and given the chance to contribute.

Today, our mission remains the same. We believe every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and lead. When children are surrounded by support, challenged to reach their potential, and trusted to make a difference, they don't just change their own lives—they strengthen their families, schools, and communities as well.
